The Gold Coast is where FocusPod is based. Our warehouse and showroom are at Molendinar, which means local buyers can see all six models in person, and delivery is frequently same-week. Pods start at $7,595 ex GST, install in a morning, and need no council approval or electrician.
Delivering to Gold Coast
From our Gold Coast warehouseWe are a Gold Coast business. The warehouse holding every model in stock is at Molendinar, and so is the showroom, which makes this the easiest place in the country to buy a pod properly.
Come and sit in one. Shut the door, have someone talk on the other side of the glass, and stay in there ten minutes with the ventilation running. That fifteen-minute visit answers more than any amount of specification reading, and it regularly changes which model people go home intending to buy.
Because stock is here, Gold Coast deliveries are often arranged the same week. Our install team is local, so if something needs adjusting afterwards we can be back without it turning into a scheduled visit.
Getting a pod into a Gold Coast building
What actually goes wrongGold Coast commercial stock is mostly low to mid-rise and generally easy on access — Southport, Bundall, Robina and Varsity Lakes are all straightforward for a pallet delivery. Surfers Paradise high-rise commercial is the main exception, where lift dimensions and loading dock access need checking like any tower.
Because we are local, access problems are far easier to solve here. If something does not fit through a particular door, we can look at it rather than working from photographs.
The one thing worth planning for is heat. A pod against west-facing glazing on the Gold Coast gets warm in summer. Standard ventilation handles air quality rather than cooling, so if that is your position, ask about the air conditioning add-on before you order.
Send us three measurements
Internal lift dimensions, the narrowest point between the dock and the destination, and ceiling height at the spot. Packed pallets are 1270 mm tall and between 2310 and 2650 mm long — that length is what fails a lift. Send photos and we will confirm access before you pay for anything.

Installation runs from $995 ex GST to $1,795 ex GST depending on model. Or take it flat-packed and have it together in an afternoon — plenty of local buyers pick up from Molendinar directly.

Can I see an office pod on the Gold Coast?
Yes. Our Molendinar showroom has the full range set up, by appointment. It is worth the visit — sit in a few models with the door shut and the ventilation running, which tells you far more than a spec sheet.
Can I pick up a pod myself?
Yes. Local buyers collect from Molendinar regularly. Pods ship flat-packed on a pallet, so you will need appropriate transport — tell us the model and we will confirm pallet dimensions and weight.
How quickly can you deliver on the Gold Coast?
Often the same week for in-stock white and grey pods, since stock is local. Custom colour combinations are built to order in four to six weeks.
Do office pods get hot on the Gold Coast?
They can, against west-facing glazing in summer. Standard ventilation is designed for air quality rather than cooling. For warm positions we offer an air conditioning add-on, which is much better specified up front than retrofitted.
Do office pods need council approval on the Gold Coast?
Requirements depend on the site and proposed installation. Confirm the pod position with your building manager or landlord, and ask the relevant council or building certifier whether approvals are needed before ordering. Include floor loading, access, fire services and ventilation in the site review.
