What standard installation covers

When purchased, standard installation covers assembly of the agreed pod and selected furniture at the prepared location, with operational checks and handover. Confirm internal handling in your quote. Stairs, cranes, unusual access, electrical works and building fire-system connections need separate scope.

Prepare the site

• Measure the final position, door swing, circulation and overhead space. The shell dimensions do not include assembly, ventilation or service clearance.
• Record the unloading area, narrowest doorway, corridor turns, lift door and cabin dimensions, lift capacity and any stairs.
• Have facilities review the assembled pod, furniture and occupant loads at the exact location. Packed weight is a separate transport requirement.
• Get the selected model’s packing and assembly instructions checked against the route. Any unpacking or component handling needs an agreed method.
• Confirm power, fire-system requirements, building permission and any cooling equipment before ordering.

Allow working room around and above the pod. A quoted cooling-equipment height is not a complete ceiling-clearance requirement. Request the current assembly and equipment instructions for your exact order before signing off a close fit.

Assembling it yourself

Use at least two capable adults and follow the supplied model instructions; the handling assessment may require additional people or equipment. Standard assembly uses the supplied tools. Do not use a short overview video as a substitute for the assembly manual.

Allow time for unpacking, handling, levelling, assembly and checks. A broad 4–6 hour assembly estimate is only a planning indication; model, experience, furniture and site access change the time.

Manuals for your configuration

Send the model, order reference and selected options to request the matching assembly manual and packing sheet. Keep the pod instructions and any cooling or electrical equipment instructions together. Use the revision supplied for your order rather than an older brochure.

Handover and warranty

• Check level, door closing, seals, glazing and any visible damage.
• Test the supplied lighting, ventilation and controls, and review care instructions.
• Keep the installation date, photos and documents.
• Self-assembly does not itself remove the five-year structural/electrical warranty. Faults caused by installation contrary to instructions are excluded; statutory rights still apply.
