Planning your pod / Australia

Assembly and installation

All self-assembly tools are included. Allow 4–6 hours, depending on the model. Professional installation is optional and priced per pod.

01

Choose the scope you need

Self-assembly uses the model’s supplied instructions and tools. Professional installation includes standard on-site assembly, agreed positioning and rubbish removal. Confirm access and scope before booking; stairs, crane lifts and electrical work are not included.

Free delivery Australia-wide is to the unloading point. Internal movement, stairs, lifts and final positioning need to be agreed separately for your site.

Before assembly

  • Check the final footprint, door swing and circulation route.
  • Allow assembly, ventilation and service access around the pod.
  • For cooling, allow an additional 350 mm above the pod.
  • Confirm floor loading, a suitable power point and building/fire requirements.
03

Decide how the components reach the room

Delivery ends at the agreed unloading point. Before assembly, agree who moves the components inside and how lifts, stairs or narrow routes will be handled. Standard installation does not include every access arrangement; have unusual handling assessed on the quote.

04

Prepare the working area

Use the model drawings to mark the final footprint and door swing. Leave room for assembly and safe movement of components, and keep circulation and exits clear. Confirm power, ventilation clearances and any building requirements before the installation date.

05

Check the finished setup

Use the supplied instructions to check the door, lighting, ventilation and power. Review the furniture layout and any optional equipment. Keep the model instructions and order reference so future maintenance or support is straightforward.

06

Drawings and documents

Request the plan, elevation, door clearance and packing details for your chosen model and options. Acoustic reports and Australian electrical/safety certificates are available by request.

07

Send your plan or photos

Email your model shortlist, postcode, floor plan and access photos to info@focuspod.com.au. Include your building level, lift and door dimensions, ceiling height and preferred timing. If you already have an enquiry, include the same name or order reference.
