Buying guide
The best two-person pods in Australia.
For interviews, one-to-ones and pair work. The choice is less about acoustics than about the shape of the space you have.

Two-person office pods in Australia start at about $10,695 ex GST. Check the exact model’s ISO 23351-1 report and ventilation specification, then the real decision is footprint shape: a square pod at roughly 1600 × 1375 mm needs a corner or island position, while a long narrow pod at 2300 × 966 mm sits flat against a wall run or window line where a square one will not fit.
Shape decides this, not acoustics
Begin with the required seating arrangement and the usable floor area. Compare each model’s acoustic report, ventilation and operating clearances as separate criteria; equal capacity does not imply identical performance.
Most offices have wall runs, window lines and corridor edges with about a metre of usable depth and nothing that fits there. A square pod needs a corner or an island position and eats circulation space. A narrow pod sits flat against the wall and leaves the floor plan intact.
This is the single most overlooked point in the category, and it is why we ask for a floor plan before recommending anything.
The options

Framery Four — if extra seats are useful

Compare the extra capacity and required operating space against your brief. Read the manufacturer’s Framery Four specification.

Duo and Team both seat two, with different internal proportions. Mark the complete footprint, door swing and nearby walkway on a plan, then compare the selected furniture layouts. The Team is shallow; it still needs usable clearance in front of its door.
What two-person pods get used for
Performance reviews, HR conversations, candidate interviews and pair work. All four are things that should not happen at an open desk, and all four are why the acoustic rating matters more here than in a phone booth — someone overhearing half a performance review is a different problem from someone overhearing half a sales call.
What customers say
Named, with permission★★★★★
“We mainly use the Duo for candidate interviews and private staff discussions. It is comfortable for two people and creates a much more professional environment than trying to hold interviews at an open desk. It has quickly become one of our most useful office spaces.”

★★★★★
“The FocusPod Duo is perfect for one-on-one meetings, performance reviews and confidential conversations. It gives us privacy without requiring a full-size meeting room, and it fits neatly into the office without making the space feel crowded.”
Natalie Evans
North & Co Accounting
★★★★★
“The narrow footprint was the main reason we selected the FocusPod Team. We had a long section of unused floor space but not enough width for a conventional meeting room. The pod fitted the area perfectly and gave us a proper team meeting space without changing the entire office layout.”
Adam Foster
UrbanForm Architects
★★★★★
“Most of the larger office pods we looked at were too wide for our floorplan. The FocusPod Team gave us the seating capacity we needed while fitting along a narrow wall. It has helped us turn an awkward area into one of the most frequently used spaces in the office.”

Common questions
What is the best 2-person office pod in Australia?
Choose by seating layout, usable floor area, tested acoustics and ventilation. The Duo is 1600 × 1375 mm externally and the Team is 2300 × 966 mm. Allow for the door and circulation around either pod; compare the exact model report before choosing.

About 2.2 m² for either shape, plus clearance for the door and for people to walk past. What differs is the shape of that 2.2 m² — square, or long and narrow.
