FocusPod Marketing privacy notice
Updated 18 October 2026. This notice covers the Google Search Console connection in FocusPod Marketing, an internal monitoring tool operated by FocusPod.
Information accessed and purpose
After the authorised owner consents, the tool can read the Search Console properties available to that account, their access levels, search queries, page URLs, clicks, impressions, click-through rates, average positions, country and device dimensions, and URL inspection information such as indexing status, canonical URLs and crawl dates. Google may limit the information returned.
FocusPod uses this information to monitor its websites, investigate search and indexing issues, prepare recommendations and maintain a history of checks. This connection requests only the read-only Search Console permission. It does not request Gmail, contacts, files or payment data, and cannot change Google Search Console settings.
Processing, storage and access
Credentials are stored separately from the ordinary transfer package on FocusPod's authorised computer with restricted file permissions. Selected Google data and derived reports can be processed through OpenAI's ChatGPT/Codex services and stored in FocusPod's private dashboard. These service providers process information under the terms and data controls applicable to FocusPod's accounts. Data may be processed outside Australia.
Dashboard access is restricted to the authorised owner. FocusPod does not publish or sell the Google data, use it to build advertising audiences, or intentionally use it to train a general-purpose AI model. Before unattended processing, FocusPod must configure and verify service-provider controls consistent with these purposes.
Retention and deletion
Monitoring history is retained until the owner removes it or retires the system; there is currently no automatic expiry period. The owner can request removal of stored reports, local monitoring records and credentials using the support address below. Removal must be carried out in each system holding a copy. Provider backups and retention remain subject to the relevant provider's terms.
Control and revocation
The owner can stop monitoring on the designated computer and revoke FocusPod Marketing through the third-party connections section of their Google Account. Revoking access stops future authorised Google reads; it does not automatically delete records already collected.
